About the project
Hag (recursive acronym for Hag's actually grml) is a GNU/Linux distribution, based on grml.
Main goals of this project are:
- enslave hearts of ladies
- incite all, who think that there are too many distributions
- show power of Fluxbox by providing Live system (which you can run directly from medium — i.e. CD, USB key — without instalation on hard drive, but it is also possible), with polished up configurations of desktop environments (including configurations of Qt and GTK styles, part of software: conky, yeahconsole, mocp, etc.) with Fluxbox as windowmanager (with tastefully wallpapers and styles, polished up keyboard shortcuts, well scripted)
After boot, just before starting X Server, user will have few configurations to choose from, i.e.:
- standard for Hag configuration, probably in few colour versions
- configuration with adesklets widgets (as system monitor, iconbar, etc.)
- configurations with third party panels: fbpanel, pypanel, etc.
- configurations with iconbars by fbpanel, pypanel, idesk, wbar, etc.
- configurations with desktops by rox-filer, pcmanfm
- fluxbox-vanilla, with default configuation
which will be automatically changed with symlinks.
Unofficial anthem of the project is song Wiedźma (pl. Witch) from album Gusła (pl. Witchcraft) by polish band Lao Che.
